Installation

It’s really easy. Once you have made the decision about Warmstad Electric Underfloor Heating (EUFH) or Neptun Leak Detection and Prevention System (LDPS), you have to decide whether you want our crew to install it for you, or you want to install it DIY.

At any rate, this is what you will need to Plan Your Job:

Before purchasing the materials from this website, please consider the following:

  1. For Warmstad EUFH:
    1. Type of material (please use the selection chart in the Catalogue on pp. 4 and 5):
      • Thermal Cable Section for the screed.
      • Thermal Mat for the screed or under the tiles.
      • Aluminized Mats for underneath the Laminate, Parquet, PVC etc.
    2. Number of zones (rooms, bathrooms, corridors, etc.) you’d like to equip with EUFH.
    3. Type of thermostat (programmable, Wi-Fi manageable, etc.) and its location on the wall in each zone (please provide the 230V connection for each zone beforehand).
    4. Each zone area, in sq. m.
    5. Static furniture layout (for better results, you can use your property floorplan from the Architect drawings or the Building Permit or the Title Deeds) – beds, chests, wardrobes etc.
    6. Then calculate the area to be heated, using the formula in the Catalogue on p. 5 – please mind the recess from the walls and skip the static furniture!
    7. Thermal insulation can be purchased from us, subject to early notice (may take a couple of weeks).
    8. Use the videos from this website.
    9. Call us for discussion and assistance any time.

NOTE: The electric connections must be performed by the licensed Electrician!!!

  1. For Neptun LDPS:
    1. Select the system type:
      • Wired for newly built properties or where renovation is planned or in progress
      • Wireless for less disturbance
      • System features (12V/230VAC, Wi-Fi manageable, SMS text notification needed, integration into the Smart Home or into the Alarm System, etc.)
    2. Find out how many items would you need:
      • Number of Module/s (depends on the building design and plumbing schematics complexity – We recommend using your plumbing system layout or contact the professional plumber) and its/their location/s on the wall/s outside the bathroom/s (please provide the 230V connection for each Module beforehand)
      • Number of Valves (usually Hot, Cold, and Drinking) and their pipe size/s
      • Number of Water Sensors (usually to be placed underneath the tub/toilet/basin)
    3. Valves installation: Inside/Outside?
    4. Use the manuals from this website.
    5. Call us for discussion and assistance any time.

NOTE: The electric connections must be performed by the licensed Electrician!!!

We also recommend the plumbing operations to be performed by the professional plumber.
